This is a software for the Analysis and Design of structural cross sections. Arbitrary cross-section analysis and reinforcement design under bi-axial bending is possible. It helps carry out Moment Curvature Analysis, Interaction Diagrams, Reinforcement Design and Stress Analysis, etc. This tool can perform a range of cross section calculations. That covers reinforced concrete sections or the rebar calculations. These cross-sections could be simple as well as complex ones. The user interface makes it easy to draw these shapes. It is also possible to import required shapes conforming to standard shape libraries of other applications. Major codes such as AISC, Australian-New Zealand, BS, Chinese, European, Indian, Aluminum etc. are supported. The program is not limited in any way as far as material or cross-section to be considered are concerned. It supports biaxial bending and axial loads.

You would be able to calculate all sectional properties, plot Moment – Curvature and Interaction diagrams, estimate the location of neutral axis under given sets of biaxial loads and plot the corresponding stress – strain diagrams. Stress contours also can be plotted easily once the neutral axis plane has been given. Interaction diagrams and reinforcement designs and moment curvature analysis of concrete columns can be taken up. Concrete codes are followed closely. The stress – strain curves of concrete, and the materials involved are assigned permanently so that complete analysis down to safety factors and limit states analysis could be carried out. A large material library is available. It is possible to specify custom linear, bi-linear, tri-linear parabolic or fully general materials. This is a very good program.

The user can also perform a reinforcement design according to above listed codes, plot the matching interaction diagrams etc., or even check a given reinforcement amount for the specified load cases. The stress – strain curve of concrete, reinforcement and other materials is specified as per the defined Analysis Parameters Sets. Thus calculations can be performed for many design situations, such as Ultimate/Serviceability or custom defined Limit States, with an automatic adjustment of the material properties, safety factors etc. A large material library is also available according to almost all concrete/reinforcement material specifications. Apart from concrete and reinforcement materials, the user can specify custom linear, bilinear, trilinear parabolic or fully general materials.
